We want to make sure everyone is aware of that our February General meeting will not be at Bethany Lutheran. The meeting will be at our new location, the Batavia VFW Post 1197.
This past Saturday, January 24th., We moved our library cabinet, its contents and our workbench to the Batavia Overseas VFW Post. We want to thank all of the members who brave the -5-degree weather to get the move accomplished.
At the Batavia VFW post, besides putting the library contents back into the cabinet, we laid out details on the areas SIGs will meet, Share & Tell will be set up, where the presenter will be and where we will set up the chairs for the General Meeting. In addition, we set up and tested the audio/video equipment set up and Rex made sure things are in place, so we have our refreshments.
We ask your patience, we know we could encounter some bumps which will need to be worked out. We couldn't imagine it going more smoothly. And, after getting a feel on how we'll use the room for our meetings, I think everything is going to work out very nicely.
