The Turn-On! Chicago 2024 symposium is the perfect opportunity to learn lots of new skills, and there are topics for everyone regardless of your turning experience. The symposium is at the Crowne Plaza in Chicago-Northbrook on August 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.

You will have opportunities to learn turning techniques, see interesting projects made before your eyes, as well as carving and various painting techniques, just to name a few. This year's demonstrators include some of the best woodturners from around the country including Stuart Batty, Keith Gotschall, Jeff Hornung, Laurent Niclot, Kristin LeVier, Roberto Ferrer, Elizabeth Weber, Greg Gallegos, Rob Wallace, and Kurt Wolff-Klammer.

During the weekend you can choose from five different classrooms which will have a total of 48 presenters on rotation. You can also count on seeing an excellent tradeshow, an instant gallery with people's choice awards, enjoy a banquet, auction, hands-on pen turning to support our troops, and a Women in Turning meeting. It's going to be a busy, fun and educational weekend for everyone. If you stop by the entire weekend or just a day or two, we look forward to seeing you.

The complete rotation schedule and all the event information can be found on the Turn-On website. Click on the "Register Now" button to go to the website.
