I have been wood working for about 22 years. My primary field of interest is scroll sawing. I have been making scale model trains for about 20 years now. I bought a pattern for the first train I made. It was a steam locomotive and coal tender. Before I completed making the train according to the plans, I started designing plans for a passenger car to go with my locomotive. Since then, I have been designing my own plans of real trains, then, making them out of wood. I also am always looking for new uses for the scroll saw. These include making “woven baskets” and coin cutting. I am very anxious to talk about my trains with your group.
